Important for users on MacOS 12.2 or earlier
FileVault is an encryption system available on Mac computers. When enabled on Mac with the previous Intel chips, it might prevent Bluetooth® devices from connecting with your computer if you have not yet logged in. If you have FileVault enabled, we recommend using a compatible USB receiver to use your keyboard. If you have a new Mac with an M1 chip, this issue has been resolved since the release of macOS 12.3.
